General Salon Rules
All of our regulations are in place for the safety of our customers & staff so we appreciate your compliance with these.
Client record cards must be completed prior to any treatments being carried out.
We are not a crèche - Children under 16 cannot accompany you to any appointment or sunbed, the salon is generally a safe place but there are hot tools/hot wax/sunbeds/aesthetics procedures/chemicals and most important of all - other people trying to relax.
Any clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times whilst within the salon.
No abuse towards our staff will be tolerated and this can result in your appointment being cancelled without refund and you being removed from the premises.
Gift Vouchers
Cannot be exchanged for any monetary value.
Must be used within 4 months of date of purchase.
Must be used in full.
Needs to be used by the named individual on the Gift Card.
Can potentially be changed for another service of the same value within MMV Nails, Beauty & Tanning at the discretion of the salon staff.
Prize Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed in the month of December.
Booking T's & C's
Deposit, Cancellation and Booking Policy
No deposit = no appointment
All our service appointments in the salon require a non-refundable deposit of around 50%, this secures the date & time for you and you only. It then gets taken from the total on the day, leaving you with less to pay at the end. Woohoo
Once requested, if no deposit is received within 24 hours, we cannot guarantee the desired appointment will still be available.
Cancellation outwith 48 hours of booked appointment - deposit can be fully refunded
Cancellation between 24-48 hours of booked appointment - 50% of deposit is retained by the salon or 100% moved towards future booking (can only be moved once)
Cancellation within 24 hours of booked appointment - deposit fully retained by the salon
Any no show booking deposits will be fully retained by the salon.
Any refunds where the initial deposit was paid by card will incur an admin fee which covers our banking charges.
Book the correct service - if you need your last set of nails/lashes taken off before your new set or want a restyle rather than your normal cut & blow dry etc you need to let us know! We will no longer be forfeiting our lunch to finish your service if the correct thing isn't booked. If you don’t know, ask, we're friendly.
Be on time to your appointments - anyone who arrives over 10 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled and deposit fully retained.
Book your appointments in advance as all appointments are first come first served and cannot always be guaranteed.
Patch testing is a requirement by our insurance providers and it’s your responsibility to have it done at least 48 hours prior to a booked appointment. Turning up to your appointment and it not being done will result in your appointment being cancelled and deposit retained, any amendments to your appointment on the day will be at the discretion of salon management.
Age restrictions - some treatments have age restrictions, this is again due to insurance stipulations. It is your responsibility to check if you are able to have this treatment done before booking. This information can be found on the treatments section of 'Nikki'. Any appointment booked where client turns up and is found to be underage will be cancelled with no refund given.
Other technician work - As there are so many unregulated products/salons in the hair and beauty industry, we DO NOT infill OR remove another nail technicians work and DO NOT infill another eyelash technicians work. This applies to home kits also.
Removal of another technicians eyelashes is at the discretion of the salon staff.
Sunbed T's & C's
Sunbed Terms & Conditions
No ID = No Sunbed
Over 18's only but as we have challenge 25 in the salon, If your lucky enough to look under 25 also then photographic ID will be required before you can use a sunbed and you may be asked to show proof again at any given requested time.
No under 18's can be within the sunbed area of the salon or inside any individual sunbed cubicle at anytime as this is against the law.
We also cannot be held responsible for any children left unattended whilst adults are on a sunbed - not a crèche.
30 and 60 minute block purchases:
- Valid for one year from the date of purchase
- Can be used by the named individual only and cannot be transferred or shared.
- Cannot be exchanged for any monetary value.
- Cannot be refunded.
- Not limited to the amount you can buy at once
Q18 blocks can be used on Q18, Q14, i8e
Q14 blocks can be used on Q14 & i8e only
i8e blocks can be used on i8e only
Agreement must be signed & followed at all times.
Any deviations can result in your block being terminated and your use of our establishment stopped with no refund given.
Special offers on tanning blocks apply the same rules as above

Terms and conditions of competition entry
- Entrant must be over 18 to enter and claim any prizes
- Winner will be announced 6th August 2023
- All prizes must be used before October 31st
- All entry requirements must be completed to be counted
- Competition is subject to change
- Winner must agree to photos being taken and posted on social media
- Winner must agree to name being shared on social media
- Cannot be exchanged for any monetary value
- Treatments swapped at discretion of staff
- Patch test mandatory 48 hours prior for colour appointment
